Radka Kubková

Czech Republic)

Has been a distinctive personality on the Czech fashion scene for more than twenty years now. She has especially excelled in original accessories: hats, bags, gloves or belts. That is why many top fashion designers invite her to add sensitive but unconventional finishing touches to their clothes. They know that a well-chosen accessory can emphasise the whole style of a model. Clothes under the "Radka“ label are playful and relaxed. The fashion designer Radka Kubková has also been recently focussing on unique leather and fur creations.

PROFILE
1976 – 1979 1980 – 1987 Since 1980 1993 – 1998	- Studies at the Schoul Institute for Artistic Production in Prague - Restorer of textiles at the State Studios of Restoration - Her own fashion creations with a specialisation in sewn lace and leather accessories - Regular cooperation with the magazine supplement of a prestigious Czech newspapers in the area of fashion and lifestyle
October 1998 Autumn 2004	- Establishment of her own boutique DOK č.5 (Dock no.5) in Prague’s Old Town - Relocation of the boutique, more concentration on some EU-countries
Her own fashion show/cooperation:
1990 – 1998	- Accessories to the collections of many Czech fashion designers (for example E.daniely, Liběna Rochová)
October 2003	- Two fashion collections presented at the Prague Fashion Week, awarded the title ,,Fashion Artist of the Season"
Since 2004 Since 2005	- regular participation at the Prague Fashion Week - cooperation with the architects studio Mimolimit on commissions for interior
